The co-founder of Gay Sitges Link (now Colors Sitges Link) and our number 1 partner, Brandon Jones, has received the British Empire Medal for his services to the British community in Sitges.
The British Ambassador, Mr Hugh Elliott, and the British Consul General, Mr Lloyd Milen came to Sitges on 1st March to present him with the medal at the Queenz restaurant, together with members of the British community in Sitges and representatives of the association he co-founded and for which he was awarded the medal in June last year.
An informal, fun and exciting meeting in which Brandon has highlighted the motto of our association, “making community in Sitges”, and has extended and extrapolated it to the entire Anglo-Saxon community that he has fought so hard to unite and energize.
