On Thursday, August 8th, our headquarters was filled with laughter, music, and lots of positive energy during the bingo snack event we organized. It was an afternoon full of surprises and good times, where one of the groups participating in the “No More Closets” project (or “Seniors without Closets“, as we usually call it), gathered to enjoy an activity that combined fun, camaraderie, and a competitive touch.
The event, attended by 8 people, was led by our social worker, Miriam Erazo, and José Montero, who has recently joined our team and who will also be in charge of the Qi Gong sessions at sunset on Wednesdays. Their enthusiasm and charisma made the afternoon a memorable experience for all participants.
The snack began with a delicious selection of sweets (there are no better croissants in Sitges than those from our friend Fran at Entrepans) and drinks, creating the perfect atmosphere to socialize during bingo. But, as is customary in our activities, there had to be a special touch: prizes for those who won bingo and also for the lines. The competitive spirit was maintained throughout, but always with a smile and good vibes.
During the activity, we shared a truly fun moment. There was a lot of laughter, dancing, karaoke, conversation, and, of course, prizes. José led the afternoon, making everything more entertaining and very playful. The participants were very enthusiastic and receptive, enjoying every moment.
We gave out several prizes: for bingo, for the line, and also to those who dared to sing or tell jokes. Additionally, every time someone called out a line or bingo, everyone had to dance to a specific song: “La Bomba” for bingo and “La Macarena” for a line. Laughter and fun were guaranteed!
We shared two and a half very pleasant hours, full of good humor and camaraderie. The music flowed, and the joy was contagious, once again demonstrating that the Colors Sitges Link community knows how to have fun in any situation.
We are sure that this won’t be the last time we organize such an afternoon. The energy and good vibes experienced encourage us to repeat, and we are eager for more people to join us in future events.
