An busy February

Although it may seem that the first months of the year are quieter from the point of view of events and actions, nothing could be further from the truth.

These days the committee has a very intense work on several fronts, for example:

Grants Justification

All the grants we applied for and were awarded for our 2023 projects have a justification deadline on 29 February. In our particular case we have to present four justifications: two to the Generalitat de Catalunya, one to the Diputació de Barcelona and one to the Ajuntament de Sitges.

Each justification involves the preparation of a detailed project dossier showing the results obtained, as well as a precise economic table of all the expenses. These expenses must be accompanied by their corresponding invoices and bank movements.

2023 Annual Report

All the actions of the association during 2023 are described in detail in this document. The report is written jointly by the coordinators of each area, by filling in a form for each activity.

The report is more like an encyclopaedia than a simple document. As a reference, here is the link to the 2022 report, which is 257 pages long:

Financial Report and Budget

Another task to be completed is the closing of the accounts for the year and the preparation and presentation of the financial table of income and expenditure for 2023. This financial table is the basis for the drafting of the 2024 budget to be presented to the AGM for approval.

So, as you can see, we do not get bored in the committee these days…
