Sant Jordi 2023 has been great: a spectacular sunny day, lots of visitors to our stand eager to greet and collaborate with the association and, in the afternoon, signing of the authors Nacho Zubizarreta, Eloi Biosca and the writer Prado G. Velázquez.
As every year, our volunteers have been at the foot of the cannon from 8 in the morning, to set up the parade, until the closing time, around 20:00h.
We would like to thank all the volunteers who helped out on Sunday 23rd at the book stall. Thank you for your effort and dedication.
Our “angels” of this Sant Jordi were:
Martín Martín, Fernando de Almeida, Bel, David Harding, Óscar Aguilar, Jordi, Tim Telcs, Prado García, Joaquim, Marcos Renato, Carlos aká Guajo, Craig… Special thanks to Guajo and Laia, who have been collecting books all week, and to David and Fernando who have been putting some order to the more than 500 books that you have donated this year.
And of course, we would also like to thank all the members who visited the stand and bought books.
