This week we have been visited from the UK by about 40 people from the Gay Outdoor Club, a hiking group who have come here to Sitges to celebrate their 50th anniversary! One of their coordinators, Martin Gilbraith, is also a member of Color Sitges Link and a few months ago we were talking about organising joint events for this week. And so it was that we planned two Rainbow Routes and a group reception on Monday evening at the Palau del Rei Moro which was coordinated to perfection by our volunteers Miquel, Jonatan, Rodo and Mª Luisa, who took care of preparing the room, serving drinks to the attendees (in particular Vermut de Sitges) and collecting everything at the end.
The group was pleasantly surprised by the quality of our Rainbow Route led by Montserrat Esquerda and our generous hospitality. They liked it so much that they are already talking about repeating the experience very soon.
As a final touch, many attended our social gathering at the Boys Bar on Thursday and participated very actively in the karaoke session.
With this kind of events we continue with our mission to strengthen relationships with LGTBIQ+ associations from all over the world.
