The team from the HIV and Sexually Transmitted Diseases Unit at the Bellvitge University Hospital is coming to Sitges to give a presentation about the Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), which is the latest method to prevent the sexual transmission of HIV.
In Europe, this treatment has been approved only in France and Norway. In Spain a study is being carried out of which only three Spanish hospitals are involved, and the Bellvitge Hospital is one of them.
The conference will take place on Saturday February 4th at 11-30 in our Centre.
The conference will be in Spanish, with summaries in English also being offered. The doctors will be able to answer any questions you may have in English.
