England & Wales have just approved gay marriage. It is a fact! A historic moment! Hurray to Equality!
Today, July 15, 2013, The House of Lords has approved a bill to allow same-sex couples to marry in England and Wales. It is expected that the bill will receive Royal Assent on Wednesday July 17 and the first marriages of same-sex couples will be held in the spring of 2014.
Throughout the process, there have been those who have tried to overthrow the law, including investing large amounts of money to finance homophobic campaigns. But money does not buy reason. The right path was already written.
