We continue to celebrate international days of the LGTBIQ+ collective. This time it is the turn of International Lesbian Visibility Day, on Tuesday, April 26.
The group of LBTQ+ women of Colors Sitges Link has organized several actions to commemorate the visibility of lesbians in Sitges spread between the 26th and the 30th of April. These events have been joined by the associations of El Punt R from Sant Pere de Ribes, L’Esquerda from Vilanova i La Geltrú and 28J from Vilafranca del Penedès, aware of the need to join forces on a day like this. The group of women from these associations have formed the Bi-bollero Block with the intention of continuing to collaborate in these and other future actions.

Tuesday, April 26:
7:30 p.m. Meeting at the pla. Eduard Maristany (Renfe station) in Sitges.
7:45 p.m. March to the town hall with the route carrer l’Illa de Cuba, carrer Jesús, Cap de la Vila, carrer Major, pl. de l’Ajuntament.
8:00 p.m. Reading of the Manifesto between representatives of the 4 entities.
8:30 pm. Women’s social gathering.
It will be the first time that the group of lesbian women attends the Sitges Town Hall to read the manifesto. We hope you will come to give your support.
Saturday, April 30:
6:30 p.m. Screening of the documentaries “The Family Rare” and “Lesbophobia” in the SIS room on pl. Catalonia, Sitges. After the screening of both documentaries, a discussion (act not exclusive for women).
8:30 p.m. Pastry dinner.
23:00h. Baking party at the Everlasting in Sitges.
If you want to sign up for the events on Saturday, you need confirmation of attendance because you have to book at the restaurant and venue. We no longer have the MariPili or the annual festivals of Atlantis… Sign up for this one! The more we are, the more we will laugh.
