Yesterday, December 1, World AIDS Day, the streaming talk “HIV Prevention Strategies” took place from our YouTube channel, with Dr. José Moltó Marhuenda, specialist physician and researcher of the HIV unit of the Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol (Can Ruti).
Dr. Moltó showed us a detailed and highly educational map of the current HIV situation: from the WHO’s forecast of new infections, through the pre and post-exposure strategies to HIV, to the current studies of the preventive vaccine, especially the Mosaic study, which is currently in the volunteer recruitment phase.
