HIV AND SYPHILIS TESTS

As the result of an agreement with the association GAY SITGES LINK, the organisation STOP SIDA and the CONSORCI SANITARI DEL GARRAF, we are going to start a quick HIV and syphilis test and result service in our town. The objective is to make this facility available to the citizens and visitors to Sitges as well as the rest of the Garraf region in a new central location.  The test, which takes 40 minutes,  requires only a small blood sample. During this time, and under total anonymity, the users of this service will be informed about sexual health issues and can raise any doubts they may have. There will also be support initiatives for those who test positive, indicating ways of treatment and available resources. The test is free and available to everybody, it is not just limited to the LGTB community. Anybody can make use of this service. The tests will take place on the last Friday of the month, beginning this March 28^th, at the Gay Sitges Link centre (c/ Joan Tarrida 1, 1º-2ª) between 5:30pm and 9:30pm.
