And despite this, our volunteers have been at the foot of the canyon from 8 in the morning, to set up the parade, until closing time. The rain forced us to start collecting around 8 in the afternoon, and between mud and puddles, we collected at full speed.
From here we want to thank all the volunteers who helped on Saturday the 23rd at the solidarity book stand. Thanks to the effort and dedication we managed to raise a total of €800. A historical record!
Our “angels” of this Sant Jordi passed through water were:
Martín Martín, the tireless Fernando de Almeida, Bel, David, Óscar, Jordi, Fernando Lavieja, Javi Brunet, Simon Randerson, Prado García, Adriana Dinar, Robert, Joaquín, Rob, Pasquale, Craig… And many more who stopped by the booth during the day and decided to stay a while to help.
This fundraising success would not have been possible without the generous donation of books by our partners and friends who, once again, brought quality titles that boosted sales. Thank you!
