Call for the Queer Talent Show 24 UPDATE

In the framework of the Sitges Queer Fest, we organize one of the most vibrant, creative, and art-and-culture-filled contests: the Colors Queer Talent Show.

The Colors Queer Talent contest is not like the TV format; our jury will not be there to make strange faces or disqualify. The Sitges Queer Fest aims to be a platform where artists or future artists have the opportunity to perform in front of an audience and gain visibility.

As is traditional, to close the fourth edition of the Sitges cultural queer festival, we organize this contest so you can showcase your talent.

¿Queer? What is queer? If I’m not queer, can I participate?

In broad terms, a queer person is someone who understands and lives life and, by extension, art, differently from what hegemonic society establishes. If you are like that, different from what social and/or artistic norms dictate, if your way of expressing yourself through music, theater, dance, performance… is unique, this Queer Talent is for you.
There are hundreds of examples in the history of music: Boy George, Scissor Sisters, Gossip, LP, Keiynan Lonsdale, Miss Blanks, Dorian Electra, Divine…

So, don’t hold back. The Queer Talent Show will be held on Sunday, NOVEMBER 3. The show will start at 18:00. But you must register beforehand. You have time until OCTOBER 15!

• REGISTRATION UNTIL OCTOBER 15.
• To participate, you must be at least 17 years old (if you are a minor, you will need signed parental consent).
• Prepare a number between 3.5 and 5 minutes.
• Record a video so we can see what you do.
• Register for the contest at this link and send it to us, along with the requested data.
