Within the acts framed in the Pride, the service of Civil Rights of the City council of Sitge undergoes a table with a historical vision of the transsexuality and the sexual diversity.

Anna de Nicolàs
will present: “Transsexuality, a subject protected by the autonomy of the will” where legislative issues related to trans people will also be addressed.University graduate in Law and master’s degree in access to law. Leads LGTBI volunteers. Member of the Sitges Link Color Board and currently coordinator of the federal group of trans entities of the FELGTBI.

Leopold Estapè will talk about sexual diversity and transgenderism over time, repression and stigma about LGTBI people among other topics.Expert in LGTBI history, various exhibitions on homosexuality and HIV / AIDS. Lecturer on diversity, the Holocaust, the elderly and HIV / AIDS. Collaborator in CAT-Ràdio programs (Les mil i una nits, Ja ens entenem) and in volunteer training tasks for the elderly and 900 rosa. He has published articles in various media.

Sofia Bengoetxea with “Travelo! A historical journey through transsexuality and transvestism” that offers us a journey through history in Catalonia showing how, despite discrimination and hatred towards those who lived outside the norm, they built their identities.Trans woman, Buddhist nun and transgender rights activist. Member of EnFemme, an association that accompanies transvestites and transgender people when they come out of the closet.
