Colors Sitges Link is looking for a person to join the organization as a SOCIAL worker to carry out the coordination and management of the “NO MORE CLOSETS” project, funded by the La Caixa Social Work.

Primarily, they will develop the following tasks:

  • Design, implement, and evaluate recreational, cultural, and recreational activities by selecting methodological strategies and organizing the necessary resources and technical teams for their development.
  • Coordination and organization of events framed in the projects under their responsibility.
  • Coordination with other social entities and the local administration.
  • Accompaniment to elderly users through face-to-face and telephone interviews.
  • Guidance on information actions and advice on issues related to socio-health resources and/or benefits aimed at the collective.
  • Promoting the integration of this group into society through support, psychological support, etc.
  • Promotion of values through awareness projects carried out in the entity (values of respect, dissemination of healthy habits, sports habits, etc).
  • Dynamization of activities and groups within the framework of the projects we carry out.
  • Promotion of the participation of members and volunteers in the project.

Essential requirements (people who do NOT meet these requirements should abstain):

  • Catalan and spanish.
  • Mastery of the Office package (excel, word…).
  • Organized and methodical person, with the ability to adapt to the work environment.
  • Ability to work in a team and dynamize people.
  • Previous experience in the management of community and/or sociocultural projects.

Minimum required training: training in social work.

Experience in a similar site will be valued. Extremely valuable experience in the field of the social third sector both professionally and as a volunteer.

Date of incorporation: immediate.

Contract: 5-month contract funded by the La Caixa Foundation (expected to be renewed).

Working hours: 20 hours per week.
