As you know, every year on December 1st we commemorate World AIDS Day.

As in previous occasions, the association tries to organize activities to remind people that the disease is still very present in our lives and to raise awareness about actions to inform and to stop its spread.

This year we have set ourselves a very ambitious exercise: HANDS TOGETHER IN THE FIGHT AGAINST AIDS. For this activity we want to place an information desk on Sunday December 4th. at the Passeig de la Ribera between 11:00h and 20:00h. From here we will invite passers-by to leave the print of their hands on a 3 x 4.5 canvas containing a large drawn ribbon. This way we want to contribute to the awareness of the disease through individual participation. We will also use the occasion to distribute red ribbons and to raise donations to the STOP SIDA association.

Once completed, the canvass will be displayed on the outside wall of the association’s office (c/ Joan Tarrida 1) as a public exhibition.

For this activity we would like to count with your participation on the day and also with your help to make the action a success.

If you want to take part as a volunteer on the day please send us an e-mail to info@colorssitgeslink.org and we’ll let you know how you can help. Don’t worry if you have never done anything like this before or if you have any doubts. We will, of course, organize a volunteers coordination session and preparation before the event.

We hope you will find this activity of interest. We count on you!
