Thank you all and all for participating in this fantastic night, thanks to the more than 140 people who came and the contributions of our sponsors we have managed to raise 4,500 euros for health programs in the LGTBI community and continue the work that we are carrying carried out in Gay Sitges Link.
At the dinner we had several representatives of the City Council of different municipal groups of ERC, Independent Group of Sitges, PSC and Citizens, as well as the Mayor Aurora Carbonell Abella and representatives of entities of the city. The mayor added the membership card number 700 of our association.
This year, various recognitions and prizes have been delivered for the solidarity and awareness-raising and HIV prevention and support that they give to people with HIV. Three categories have been made:
– Sitges (local) area, in the Cine Club Sitges association for their awareness-raising through the programming they carry out throughout the year.
– National Area, in the entity “Gais Positivos” for its 25th anniversary, for the work of support for the group of people with HIV and for their work in prevention.
– International Area, at the Elton John International Foundation against HIV / AIDS, for its work to aid in the prevention and support of people with HIV in developing countries around the world.
This dinner is supported by the City Council of Sitges, Diputació de Barcelona and a number of official sponsors such as: Sitges Museums, San Juan Baptista Hospital Foundation, Cava Este Nostrum, Parrots Group, Queenz Group, Gràcia Restaurant, Prowler, May Mama, Everlasting Love, Pachito Sitges, Class & Chic Boutique, Bodegas Salvat & Peciña. In addition, there has been a solidarity rally involving more than 50 solidarity establishments in Sitges and performances by Drag Queen GIGI Capri and performances by various artists from the IAB (Institute of Arts of Barcelona).
