Master of Ceremonies

La Pelos

"I'm a girl with hair. Queer & Queen. Master of ceremonies and storyteller," this is how La Pelos describes herself: artist, oral storyteller, burlesque cabaret, comedy theater, Circus AirAcrobatic, master of ceremonies, and presenter.

This is how La Pelos defines herself — versatile, activist, a longtime friend of the house, and the first master of ceremonies in the Talent's first edition in 2021.

Now she returns to support the Sitges Queer Fest and to collaborate once again in this Queer Talent, increasingly queer, as master of ceremonies.

Elisa Lein

Born in Venezuela, she felt drawn to words, images, and sounds from a young age. An explorer of photography, video, and music, muses and rhymes are her constant companions. Since learning to write, she has known she was a writer, regardless of genres or labels, praising bodies and thoughts in free verse and prose. Her writings, under her Antojología Poética, serve as an outlet where she rhymes about whatever inspires her, with humor and love, "from Woman to Woman."

She shares original and borrowed poems about the LGTBI world, stories for adults, and performances or monologues on love and religion (choosing to leave out politics for being redundant). To formalize her vocation, she became a journalist and later specialized in Audiovisuals, alternating her roles as producer and journalist with teaching, forming new generations of communicators in Venezuela.

Since arriving in Barcelona, she has dedicated her time to audiovisual projects, photography, and poetry.

Queer Talent Finalist Artists

Ammori

Ammori is a hurricane, an electric storm, pure magic and mysticism when in their natural habitat: the stage.

Show name: 'Kweerness on ma veins'—the showcase presented by the artist to celebrate and pay tribute to the LGBTQIA+ community, to which they belong, through original songs that have toured across Spain since 2021 in cities like Córdoba, Valencia, Barcelona, and Madrid.

They don’t fit into any single genre but rather play with them all, blending them at will, using reggaeton as a base and merging it with club dance, dancehall, or 'makineo' music (among others) to tell stories that champion equality and diversity. They were born out of the need to create inclusive urban music and bring new themes to the scene through songs.

Turning the game board around, Ammori arrives on the music scene to break the limits of previously established rules.

Ammori: with queerness in my veins.

Dancers: Iván Camilo Acosta Esquirol and Carlos Juárez Marchán.

Drag queen, extroverted and multifaceted, always ready for new challenges. Whether with a microphone in hand or showing their best dance moves, their goal is always to create an electrifying atmosphere that everyone remembers.

Their strength lies in dancing, especially as a go-go dancer, but their passion goes much further. They love creating impactful and unique performances that leave a lasting impression at every event they attend. Their style is dark and seductive, combining elegance and mystery.

Currently, they perform regularly at Bodegón Club each month. Additionally, they have ventured into various arenas, hosting pride events and participating in events like La Ravalada, a performance that made a significant impact and was very well received by the public.

They do drag because it has helped them experiment with their gender and reconnect with themselves, getting to know themselves better.
