“YOU FUCKING TRANNY, I’M GOING TO KILL YOU! ”
On the night of October 8th Lucrecia Brigitte, a drag artist from the Golden Girls duo that performs every Sunday at the Everlasting Love bar (Carrer Primer de Maig 9) in Sitges, was assaulted as she was leaving the bar by an individual who grabbed her by the neck and shouted “fucking tranny, I’m going to kill you!
As a result of this attack, Lucrecia suffered injuries to her neck, scratches on her arm, chest and neck, and a sprained left ankle. Two of Lucrecia’s friends who tried to help were also beaten by this individual.
The local police and the Mossos d’Esquadra were quickly on the scene and were able to arrest the attacker. They also accompanied Lucrecia to the Sant Camil Hospital for a medical check-up and an injury report before going to the police station to file a complaint.
In addition to the shock and anxiety suffered by the attack, Lucrecia is now left with the fear that next Sunday she will return to Sitges to perform and will have to walk from her car to the venue thinking that the aggressor, who has been released, may attack her again and carry out his threat.
